Veggie Smoothie with Maca

A deliciously creamy, low-sugar smoothie with superfoods, plant protein and lots o' veggies!

Not a common combination, but worth giving a whirl, girl.

Makes 1 large or 2 small glasses

In a blender, combine:

leaf41/2 cup frozen steamed cauliflower

leaf41 cup spinach

leaf41/2 frozen banana

leaf41/2 small avocado


1 inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled

leaf41 tsp. maca powder

leaf41 tsp. lucuma powder


optional: 1 tsp spirulina powder

leaf41 serving of vanilla plant based protein powder

leaf4pinch of sea salt

leaf41 to 1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk or filtered water

leaf44 to 6 ice cubes

Blend until smooth and then top with all of your favourite things.
