Protein Power Smoothie (Vegan)

plant protein smoothie2 This delicious smoothie packs a powerful protein punch, with 24 grams of protein and whacky amount of other fabulous vitamins, minerals and nutrients.  1 Tbsp of spirulina brings in 8 g of protein all on it's own. Although I promote focussing on getting a variety of nutrients over focussing just on protein, I understand the obsession :)

1 Tbsp Spirulina

1Tbsp Plant Based Protein Powder (I like Vega)

1 Tbsp Chia Seeds

1 Green Leaf Lettuce

2 Handfuls Baby Spinach

1/2 Kale Leaf (or 1 small leaf)

1/2 Cup Frozen Blueberries

3/4 Frozen Pineapple, Mango, or Peach

1.5 Cup Coconut Water (could use water or unsweetened nut milk)

Place in high speed blender and whirl away!
