Sometimes simple is best, especially when it comes to green smoothies. This perfectly basic green smoothie is as easy as it is delicious. No need to hunt down any fancy ingredients, you may likely already have all of these on hand.


1.5 cups water or nut-milk


2-3 ice cubes

leaf41 small banana

leaf42 handfuls of spinach

1 TBSP almond butterleaf4

leaf4Optional: 1 Scoop of unflavoured, chocolate, or vanilla protein powder

leaf4Optional: 1 tsp maple syrup or a drop of stevia for added sweetness
