Cold Pressed Cocktails
There is such a thing as healthy cocktails, and we've taken #balance to a whole new level! Mixing your alcohol with cold-pressed juice or fresh nut-mylks will keep you feeling light, energized and equally naughty as you are nice.
Sweet Life Mojito
4-6 mint leaves
1/2 TBSP to 1 TBSP agave, depending on your sweet tooth.
1-2 oz of Rum
2 slices of lime
4 oz or 1/2 cup of Sweet Life
4 oz Club Soda**
Add mint leaves, agave, rum, and lime slices to a martini shaker.
Use a wooden spoon to muddle and mix the ingredients
Add ice cubes and 4 oz Sweet Life to your shaker and shake it up!
Pour the contents into a glass without straining
Top with 4 oz Club Soda
Typically mojitos are really sweet, but we like to make it juuust sweet enough. We halved the sugar and swapped out agave for brown sugar. We also opted for club soda rather than tonic water to further cut the sugar. A sugar hangover is often the worse kind!
Lady Luxe Martini
2 ice cubes
1-2 oz of Vodka or Gin
4 oz (about 1/2 cup) of Lady Luxe
3 oz Club Soda or sparkling water
Add ice, vodka or gin and Lady Luxe to a martini shaker and shake, shake, shake!
Pour through a strainer into a martini glass.
Top with the club soda or sparkling water.
Garnish with a fresh basil leaf.
If you don't have a martini shaker, no worries! You can pour the ingredients over ice in a tumbler instead.
Bailey's and Mylk
Nutmylk, of course! All 3 of these nut-mylks go amazingly with either Bailey's or Kahlua and make Christmas cozier and crazier at the same time!
If you are looking for extra creamy with a hint of vanilla, opt for Creamy Cashew.
Chocolate lovers will delight in a Mylk Chocolate.
... And for the extra hit of caffeine to turn wrapping presents into a party, go for Ooh La Latte.
Simply add 1-2 oz of Baileys or Kahlua to a tumbler and top with your favourite Good Life Nut-Mylk. Serve over ice. If you enjoyed this post, you might just enjoy our related post: Health Junkies Guide to a Holiday Hangover ;) (because... balance, right?!)
