There are so many inspirational female entrepreneurs kicking-ass at life and business on Vancouver Island! We wanted to take an opportunity to highlight a few of these amazing women in our Lady Boss Edition of our Get to Know our Tribe.
I had the pleasure of meeting Katie + Kerianne when I took their classes at Moksha yoga and fell in love! 2 genuine, humble and gorgeous woman who I am now lucky to call my friends. I hope you enjoy getting to know them as I much as I did! - Andrea, GLJ Founder.
1.) Where do you work? Position? How long have you worked there? What do you love about your company?
CURE Soaps! My beautiful business partner, Kerianne, and I started our all-natural soap company in September of this year. What I love about CURE Soaps is being able to help people have healthier skin naturally!
2.) What’s an upcoming adventure you plan to take?
Nursing school! I am so excited to expand my knowledge of the human body and continuing to help people in meaningful waysJ
3.) Who do you consider your tribe and what do you most appreciate about them?
The tribe is large! It mostly consists of this beauty group of yoga teachers at Moksha Yoga Nanaimo. Since I moved here from Nanaimo 3 years ago, they’ve taken me in as family. I love that my tribe is a strong group of individuals who are making a positive difference in the lives of others.
4.) What was the last thing you ate?
Veggie coconut curry soup that I just made:)
5.) What did you care most about when you were 10 years old?
Probably Whitney Houston
6.) What’s your spirit animal?
Fish, I’m always dreaming about the ocean

That’s a good one, I’d love to meet the Dalai Lama.

10.) What is your favorite activity to get you sweat on?
Hot yoga and cross training at Island Performance, every once in a while ya just need to throw some weights around;)
11.) What do you do to relax?
Yoga and meditation, long baths, making soap;)
12.) What is your favorite outdoor activity?
Hiking, specifically Mt.Benson….love it!
13.) Guilty pleasure indulgence? (not food)
